What Offgrid League Does

Offgrid League connects early-stage founders with vetted remote developers. I personally vet every developer, match you with the right fit, and provide ongoing CTO support throughout your project. I'm not an employment agency. I'm a technical partner helping you build your team.

How It Works

You fill out a form, we have a strategy call ($300), I find you a developer from my network ($1,500 placement fee), and I stay involved as a CTO resource (35% on dev hourly). Payment terms are discussed during the strategy call and confirmed before any work begins.

Your Responsibilities

You're responsible for communicating clearly with your developer, paying invoices on time, and being honest about your budget and timeline. I'll help you with all of this, but the relationship between you and your developer is yours to manage with my support.

My Responsibilities

I vet every developer personally. I match you based on your actual needs, not just who's available. I stay involved to catch issues early and provide technical guidance when you need it. I handle payments and dev oversight so you can focus on building.

Refunds

The strategy call fee ($300) is non-refundable. The placement fee ($1,500) is non-refundable once a developer is matched and introduced. If the match doesn't work out within the first two weeks, I'll find you a replacement at no additional placement fee.

Termination

You can end your relationship with your developer anytime. Just give reasonable notice. If you want to continue working with the developer outside of Offgrid League, that's fine, but the 35% ongoing fee applies for the first 12 months.

Liability

I vet developers carefully, but I can't guarantee outcomes. Your developer works on your project, and you're responsible for the final product. I provide support and guidance, but I'm not liable for bugs, delays, or issues that arise. That said, I'll do everything I can to help you fix problems when they come up.

Intellectual Property

All code written by your developer for your project belongs to you. Make sure you have proper contracts in place with your developer. I can help you with templates if needed.

Disputes

If something goes wrong, let's talk about it. I'm here to help resolve issues, not create more problems. If we can't work it out, we'll handle disputes through mediation before going to court.

Changes to These Terms

I might update these terms as Offgrid League grows. If I do, I'll post the new version here and let you know if you're an active client.
