I'm a software engineer myself. I hold a BSc in Computer Engineering and a Masters of CS from Georgia Tech. I've spent 10+ years building software, and previously worked for a defense contractor in the US. I built this because I've been the hire, and I know exactly what that feels like.
I don't take from your rate. What founders pay above your hourly covers my work. Your rate is yours. That's not a policy, it's just how I do things.
Devs who work with founders, not just for them
Most of our founders arrive with a prototype and real market validation. Now they need to build for real. That means shared GitHub, clear ownership across the stack, Slack, Linear, the works. We look for devs who are genuinely energised by that kind of environment, not slowed down by it.
Great at your craft and passionate about it
Some of our devs are active online and some aren't. We don't believe it's a measure of anything. No GitHub contributions required, no posting constantly. What we do look for is someone who keeps learning, stays current, and believes in long-term relationships with their clients. Things are changing in our AI world so fast. We want someone who isn't afraid. The best people we've worked with are excellent at what they do and they can execute.
No algorithmic interviews. Just real work.
We're not going to ask you to prep or perform. Show us what you've built, tell us how you work, bring the projects you're proud of. That's it.

Our founders are brilliant. We need developers who can explain what they're building clearly and patiently, without making anyone feel small. Not someone who codes and disappears. Someone who makes founders feel informed and confident the whole way through.

When a project comes up, you'll get a brief. You decide if you want it. You only bill us, never clients directly, and you're always protected.
